Quit Smoking with AJ App Reviews

It seems to be helping some but when the "relaxation" part transitions to the "quit smoking" part theres an audible pop that wakes me back up, and then the "quit smoking" part is much louder than the "relaxing" part, which makes it hard to get back to relaxed. I think it would work for me much better if it transitioned smoothly. I bought the sleep one and it works well. I anticipate this one working well also, if I can get past the "pop". Thanks for this app.

Ive tried all the quit smoking hypnosis apps and this is the only one that works for me. Ive used his lose weight one too. There is like a forcefield around my cigs and I cant bring myself to pick them up. I wont download the update as ppl are having problems with it. Hope they fix it soon. For hypnosis, you have to find the voice that works for you. Good luck!!!

Great app and not sure if it works yet, but I have os4.0.1 and when the update for this app was downloaded (today) it no lover works. Just freezes on startup, then crashes. The update indicated it was an improvement for the graphics on the iPhone 4 (which I am using) but it appears to have failed. I havent deleted it as I am waiting for a reply to the report of the problem. Otherwise, this is a quality app. To the individual who said it was the same as the free version - thats just the introduction portion - understand what you bought BEFORE you post something like that and look rather foolish ;-)

Does not launch since the update! I get a black screen then it shuts down 30 seconds later. Please help, I love this app & want it back.

I can only see a black screen after you start the app.

I love the app, often joking that Andrew and I are retiring for a while. Since all the updates all I get is a black screen. Other than that, a great tool for breaking your smoking habit.

This app does not work - opens a black screen and then crashes. Tried to reinstall 3 times with the same result. Requests for help, fix or refund are going unanswered. Next step - complain to Apple...

The app does not work and they do not return emails. Dont buy it, it is a scam!

THIS NEEDS TO BE FIXED or I WANT MY MONEY BACK. IT was going quite well...and when I go to open it to continue the program...BLACK SCREEN is all I get. I wrote them...NO RESPONSE. I would of given it 5 stars but obviously they are not too interested in getting it up and running.

I paid $2.99 for this app. Suddenly it just opens and goes straight to a black screen. Either fix the app or give everyone a prompt refund!

I have several of Andrews other programs and like them very much so i was excited to give this one a try. My chief complaints are: (1) at the end of the induction/beginning, there is a loud audible "pop" as it transfers to the next section. It is very jarring and tosses me out of the relaxed state I just got into. (2) The volume on the second part of the recording is much higher than the first, so even if I can get calm after the "pop" - Im awakened again because the voice volume is set way too high compared to the first. Id like to give this one a good review but havent been able to get past the first 15 minutes to give it a thorough try. Please fix this and send out as an update.

I have the dame complaints about the "POP"... Made me jump.. And volume on second level... Please please fix so I can give a better review and use this app with confidence that it works... And I dont want any black screen showing up.. FIX IT ....

They seemed to have fix the popping noise everyone previously complained about. I learned about Andrew Johnson because of the sleep/ relax app which after nearly a year, still works like a charm. How long does it take to quit for those that say this works? Im a heavy smoker whos been smoking for more than 10 years. Its only been about a week for me but I have cut down... Will it help me quit? Stay tuned...

Problems are real...

I got this for my husband because I love Andrews Lose Weight app but the popping sound as the induction transitions to the next section was a turn off to him. Smokers are very sensitive to everything and this is an unfortunate problem with the app. Please fix.

I have been so pleased with this app. The suggestions are all working. I am able to see others smoking without any cravings. Awesome!!! Heres an update. I am now past 35 days without a smoke. Great app! Thanks for helping me kick the habit.
